Please be sure to check our monthly calendar for important dates to remember. Any days that New Era Gymnastics will not be open will also be indicated on your calendar.

Make-Up Policy: If your child is possibly contageous, please keep him/her out of class and schedule a make-up. After-school students are allowed 3 make-ups per session. Preschool students are allowed 2. They must be made up within the session in which they were missed. Make-ups must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance, as soon as possible after the missed class, and are subject to availability. There will be no makeups during parent viewing week or evaluation weeks.

Class cancellations: For storm closings, please call the gym one hour before your class. If your child misses a class because WE cancel his/her class, you may schedule an additional make-up during that session. You cannot be credited for a cancellation unless it occurs during the last 3 weeks of the session.

Preschool Attire: Girls should wear either a leotard or shorts/pants and a T-shirt. Any tights must be worn without legging. Please no dresses, leotards with skirts, or 2-piece leotards. Girls hair must be secured to stay out of their face. Boys should wear shorts or sweat pants and t-shirt that tucks in. All children must have bare feet. Please no jeans, belts or overalls. All jewelry must be removed before entering the gym. This includes all earrings except studs with a safety backing. In Mom & Me classes, the adult accompanying the child must take off their shoes.

Girls After School Attire: Girls must wear a leotard. Leotards with skirts are not permissible. Bike shorts or footless tights may be worn with a leotard if desired.

Other rules and policies for girls:
1. All hair must be secured back away from face.
2. All jewelry must be removed before entering the gym.
This includes all earrings except for studs with safety backs.
3. Wait in the waiting room for your class to be called.

Boys' After School Attire: Boys must wear shorts, or sweats and a t-shirt that tucks in. All students must have bare feet.

Class Observation Days: For both Pre-school, and Girls and Boys After School programs, Parent Observation Days are held during your child's regular class, with dates to be announced in advance for each session (usually held the last week of the session). At this time, you are invited to sit in the gym and watch class. You may take videos and take pictures of your child. Flash photography is discouraged for safety reasons.

Other Gym Rules: 1. There is a $2 charge per family per open gym for New Era clients. There is a $5 charge for non New Era clients .
2. No parents are allowed in the gym except by invitation, such as Class Observation Days. If, at any time, you have a question or see something of concern to you, please speak to the office staff.
3 . No gum chewing is allowed in the gym.
4 . No food or beverages are allowed in the gym.
5 . No shoes are allowed in the gym
6. For "Mom and Me" classes, all babies brought to the gym must be in a stroller or a car seat. BABIES MAY NOT BE CARRIED AROUND THE GYM FOR SAFETY REASONS.

Refunds: All fees are non-refundable after two weeks of the session, although a credit can be arranged in some circumstances.

Family Discounts: Your second child will receive a 10% discount and your third child will receive a 20% discount. The more advanced classes will be paid in full.

Pro-rated fees: All fees will be pro-rated for the number of weeks remaining in the session.

Returned Checks: You will be charged a $10 bank fee.
